Ingredients
12 oz filtered water, cool or room temperature
1/8 tsp finely ground Himalayan pink salt
1/4 lemon, freshly squeezed
Instructions
1. Pour the filtered water into a large glass.
2. Add the Himalayan pink salt and stir until it is completely dissolved.
3. Squeeze the juice from the quarter lemon into the glass and give it a final stir.
4. Drink immediately upon waking to rehydrate your body after sleep.
Notes
For best results, use high-quality, finely ground pink salt so it dissolves easily.
You can adjust the amount of lemon or salt to your personal taste, but avoid using more than 1/4 tsp of salt per day in this manner.
This drink is also excellent after a workout to replenish lost electrolytes.
